Background: The MDS-D series amplifiers were introduced in 2008 and succeeded the MDS-C1 series amp when moving to the M7 Series control platform.
Migration Info: The MDS-D series has been succeeded by the MDS-D2 series amplifier. They have the same form and fit, with the addition to built-in STO function in the drives.
Background: The MDS Series Amplifiers were introduced in 1992 and succeeded the MR-S Amplifiers. The MDS series amplifiers were the first AC Digital drives that had a common DC Bus.
Migration Info: The MDS Series amplifiers were succeeded by the MDS-D series amplifiers. This allows for complete position control as well as providing a new high-speed fiber communications from the Control to the drives.
Background: The Magic 64 Control was introduced in 1995 and provided Mitsubishi with a PC card for a PCI or ISA slot that was mounted into an industrial PC with Windows 95-XP firmware.
Migration Info: The Magic 64 Control has not been succeeded by another control. If a windows based control is needed please reference M700VW.
